Statement of Ministry (Why we're here)
Grace Lutheran Preschool exists to provide a Christ-centered environment which young children can grow and develop to realize their full potential spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. In addition, our ministry provides resources to assist parents and caregivers in the Christian education of their preschoolers.
Our Program (What we offer)
Our preschool program provides a balance between active and quiet activities. Music, Devotions, Art, Story Time, Math and Science Activities, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Gym, Cognitive Development, Learning Centers, Dramatic Play and Chapel are all included in our program.
Spiritually – Devotions, Bible stories, prayers, songs, and the Lord's Prayer, will be included in our daily routine. Along with chapel once a month.
Intellectually – Our program is designed to promote a love for learning while working with the children on shape, number and alphabet recognition, printing their name, cutting, language development, etc.
Socially – We will encourage development of communication and listening skills through oral language experiences, literature, puppetry, finger plays, music, dramatization, free play and other group activities.
Physically – Developmental activities such as: Hopping, jumping, galloping, skipping, rhythm activities, dancing, etc. will be used to encourage large motor development. Fine motor development will be provided through cutting, coloring, drawing, art projects, games, toys, puzzles, painting, play dough, molding, peg boards, sorting, matching, etc.
Emotionally – We emphasize that each child is a special and precious gift from God. We will encourage development of individual independence and a healthy self image.
Learning Environment – Our preschool classroom is filled with age appropriate toys and equipment specifically selected for learning through play. The Family Life Center will serve as a great resource for gross motor activities. Our playground serves as an outdoor classroom, (weather permitting), where we can explore the world around us, as well as various science concepts, all while using gross motor skills.

Grace Lutheran Preschool is operated by Grace Lutheran Fellowship Church in Romeo, Michigan. The preschool is staffed by a qualified director, teachers and paraprofessionals who are caring Christian people. Registration
A non-refundable registration fee of $90.00 for our classes must accompany your registration form in order to hold your spot. Registration payments will be submitted online or by check payable to Grace Lutheran Fellowship. Please visit our website www.graceromeo.com click Giving/Online Giving/ Preschool Registration. Class age requirements:
- 3-year-old class- Children must be 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2026
- 4-year-old class- Children must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2026
- Young 5’s class- Children are 5 years old by Dec. 1, 2026
Classes:
3-year-old class morning session
- (T/Th) 9:00 - 11:30 A.M.
- Tuition: $120.00 per Month
4-year-old/Young 5’s class
- Option 1: (Mon./Wed./Fri.) 9:00 – 12:00 P.M.
- Option 1 Tuition: $175 per month
- Option 2: Mon./Fri. 9:00-12:00, Bonus Wednesday: 9:00-2:00 P.M.
- Option 2 Tuition: $200 per month
